It can be said, development stage of the Danapha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company in the last 50 years embodies the Danang today main development path.

Leading wing on the application of Science and Technology
When it comes to Danapha Pharmacy, people will immediately think of a prestigious Da Nang pharmaceutical brand. Established during the resistance against American war (1965), which was formerly known as the Central Drug Workshop, through many difficulties, after 50 years, Danapha Pharmacy has become a big pharmaceutical manufacturing business highlights strong reputation among hundreds of other businesses in the same industry in the country. In that history, milestone marking the Danapha reaching larger sea is Central 5 Pharmaceutical Factory conducted the first meeting of shareholders on January 1st /2007 and Danapha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company officially put into operation.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Tri, CEO, and Board Chairman Danapha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company recalled, right at the general difficult economy situation (in 2007, started the global economic crisis), Danapha has outlined a new and different specific strategy to promote superiority  products’ production and consumption have been tested successfully to the market. And this has brought positive results when the Danapha business growth rate continued to increase, on average by 15% per year.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Tri added, in a new situation where the comprehensive global integration, Danapha has identified that entering the larger sea is the essential way that businesses need to reach. Therefore, Danapha has focused on building a solid foundation to meet the new development strategy, which is to continue to increase investment in upgrading technology, human resources and infrastructure.
With a focus on investments in technology infrastructure, after years of construction, Danapha now owns the pharmaceutical GMP-WHO Oriental Medicament Factory in Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone (Da Nang) with completed-automated process of production, the system with high medicinal extraction and capacity circulation. And this plant is considered the most completed Oriental Medicament factory  in Vietna. And also,  Danapha also invested in R & D Center, Danosome Hi-Tech pharmaceutical company and other development projects in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park to be able to meet TPP's standards.
"TPP is ultimately also have to meet the criteria of science and technology, when we joined, we must meet their requirements. And that's Danapha targets in long-term development. Danapha will continue to improve the standards of science and technology to meet TPP requirements "- Mr. Nguyen Quang Tri said.
Mr. Le Quang Nam, Director at Da Nang Department of Science and Technology (S&T) said: "The Danapha investment in high-tech Park entirely suitable with the city general orientation. We can say, Danapha as "the pioneer" of the city in the investment and application of Science and Technology to find new products. S&T has close to life and into the lives it must be associated with the operation of the business. And also the final destination of Science and Technology".

Efforts to public health
Behind the tireless efforts of various staffs and employees, most concrete results which is Danapha Pharmacy archived today is the recognition of the community for the Danapha specific products. Such as Bai Thach (kidney stones); Duong Tam An Than (depression treatment and stress, insomnia), VG5 treatment of liver diseases ... In addition, Danapha are pursuing research projects to produce Etoposide Lyposome and Lyposome Paclitaxel for the cancer treatment by the most advanced technology in the world. This is not just good news for people with serious illnesses, but also contributes to the corporate image in particular and Da Nang city in general to new heights.
