(DNP - 09/20/2016) - On September 20th 2016, Danapha co-operated with elderly association in Vinh Trung Ward to hold a seminar “Keys to cope with musculoskeletal in cold season” for nearly 100 elderly people in Vinh Trung Ward, Hai Chau District.

 

 

Addressing the seminar, Mr Dong Viet Thang, former Chairman of the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Corporation, a former Central 5 Pharmaceutical Factory Manager - the forerunner of Danapha and now Danapha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company’s advisor, attended and shared: "Public Healthcare is an activity which is Danapha performed regularly with health counseling programs and knowledge about today common diseases such as high cholesterol, calculus of kidney, musculoskeletal, ... And Danapha always follows the mission: do research and produce quality products from Vietnam-origin medicines with high efficiency and safety for patients to serve Vietnamese people".

 

 

Dr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Head of Rehabilitation Da Nang C Hospital shared knowledge of rheumatoid arthritis, diseases related to musculoskeletal which is very common in the elderly, and the common signs of the diseases in cold season. With witty and easy-to-understand presentation, Mr. Dung also gave guidance to the elderly people for the bones, joints protection, some treatments as well as notable nutrition so that they can "response "with the disease in the wet-cold weather in Central.

 

 

At the conference, Pharmacist Nguyen Thuan, Danapha Product Manager also shared information about Revmaton, one of the quality products, high technology content, with 15 kinds of medicinal herbs in the product. The seminar took place in extremely warm, friendly atmosphere, many elderly people are over 80 years old still trying to attend the workshop. The participants also raise many questions to be medical advice, answer questions directly at the hall.

 

Concluding the seminar, the elderly people in Vinh Trung Ward expressed that they want to be involved in many useful programs like this. And ward leaders, the elderly association also want to expand the program to other subjects. That is what the Danapha Board of Director’s only concern to spread the program further, not only in Da Nang but nationwide to continue the mission "For the public healthcare" which Danapha is pursuing.
