Danapha held a Dyslipidemia Conference for ederly in Danang

On 12th March, 2016, Danapha held a conference on Dyslipidemia for Ederly in Danang city at Danapha’s Hall. This is one of many activities for improving public health which Danapha pursued for a long time. This conference was managed by Doctor Huynh Dinh Lai and Pharmacist Nguyen Thuan - Danapha’s product manager. Danapha was honored to welcome 250 elderly from Thanh Khe District in this conference.
 
At the conference, Dr. Huynh Dinh Lai shared with the ederly basic knowledge about dyslipidemia and its dangerous complications such as atherosclerosis or stroke. Besides, Dr Lai also shared about the treatment of dyslipidemia from non-drug treatment (changing lifestyle, having diet, doing excercise, ...) to drug treatment (statin, fibrat drug). Accordingly, the doctor advised that the ederly should apply non-drug treatment before using drug which may bring many side effects.
 
 
 
Afterward, Mr Thuan - Danapha’s product manager also introduced to the ederly about Cholestin - a Herbal medicine treating Dyslipidemia. Cholestin is prepared from Radix Achyrathis bidentatae, Flos ophorae japonicae and Rhizoma Curcumae longa - which have effect on treating Dyslipidemia. Therefore, Cholestin has distinct advantages compared to other treatment methods: reduce cholesterol slowly and have no side effects on liver, kidneys.
 
 
 
After the sharing about basic knowledge of Dyslipidemia, the two expertises also answered a lot of questions about the disease as well as Danapha’s product from the ederly and offered many helpful health tips for each specific case. At the conference, Danapha give each people a healthy weight to monitor weight, control obesity and prevent dyslipidemia from the begining.

The conference has received many positive feedback from all the guests. This encouraged Danapha to hold many other conference on health topic in order to improve public health.
